ºÚÁϳԹϾW will honor veterans at its 28th annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Friday, Nov. 10. The ceremony begins at 12:30 p.m. in A. Lincoln Commons on the ºÚÁϳԹϾW-Springfield campus, 5250 Shepherd Road, and a reception will follow. The public is invited to attend.
The program also includes Gordon Gates, ºÚÁϳԹϾW Board of Trustees Chair, serving as master of ceremonies; Jonathan Gebhardt, ºÚÁϳԹϾW student and retired Senior Airman, U.S. Airforce, providing remarks; ºÚÁϳԹϾW Student Trustee Rayna Herzog presenting the wreath; Calia Cole singing the national anthem; and Jeremy Peck playing “Taps.â€
The Veterans Day Ceremony is sponsored by ºÚÁϳԹϾW Student Life and honors all veterans including ºÚÁϳԹϾW faculty, staff and students who served in the armed forces.
